Mutton masala, which is added to every mutton dish. It is made by mixing whole spices, dry spices,, cumin powder, and garam masala. Although this spice can be used in many ways in vegetables, it would be better to use it to make mutton korma.

  • 2 tsp- coriander
  • 1 bowl- Fennel seeds
  • 15-20- black peppercorns
  • 7-10- cloves
  • 1 piece- cinnamon
  • 2- bay leaf
  • 5- Green cardamom
  • 1 tsp- Kasoori Methi
  • 1 tsp- Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp- Ginger powder
  • 1 tsp- amchur powder
  • 2 tsp- Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 tsp- rock salt
  • 1 tsp- turmeric powder
  • 3- Black cardamom
  • 1 tsp- cumin
  • 1 piece- Nutmeg
  • 10-12- dry red chilies
  • 1 tsp- mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp- Asafoetida

How to make

  • First of all, add all the whole spices like- big cardamom, red chili, clove, cumin, coriander, mustard seeds, etc. in a pan.
  • Then dry roast all the spices in a nonstick pan on medium to low flame till fragrant.
  • When a nice aroma starts coming from the spices, switch off the gas. You leave the spices to cool.
  • When it cools completely, grind it in a mixer grinder to make a fine powder.
  • Your mutton masala is ready, which you can use not only for making mutton but also for making rolls.

To use this spice you have to use it in mutton, chicken, or meat. But do not add other spices to it as the taste will be very pungent and useless. however, we can increase or decrease the spice depending on the recipe.
