A radish chutney is very popular in Karnataka. This is called Mulangi Thogyal. Today, let's share with you the method of making it from the peel-

- 1 cup radish, grated
- 1 cup radish rind, finely chopped
- 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp white urad dal
- 1 tsp chana dal
- 4 dry red chillies
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- 1 tsp tamarind
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
For tempering:
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 tsp oil
How to make-
- To make this chutney, grate the radish, clean the skin and chop it finely and keep the onion aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add urad dal, chana dal, asafoetida and dry red chili and fry on medium heat till golden brown.
- Once the dal is roasted, take it out on a plate and cool it.
- Now add grated radish, shallots, and onions to the pan. Add salt, and turmeric and fry till the raw smell of radish and onion disappears.
- When the onion and radish become soft, turn off the flame and let it cool completely on a plate.
- On the other hand prepare the tempering. For this, heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Just switch off the flame.
- Now put the roasted spices, fried vegetables, tamarind, and salt in a mixer/blender and grind them.
- Let it be a little fine and a little coarse. Take it out in a bowl and serve the prepared tadka over the chutney.
Prepare vegetable from radish peel

In many homes, along with radish, vegetable of radish leaves is also made. But today you add radish peels along with it and prepare a new recipe.

- 1 cup finely chopped radish leaves
- 1/2 cup finely chopped radish
- 1 cup finely chopped radish peel
- 1/2 potato cut into small pieces
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 dry red chilies
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
How to make-
- Gather all the ingredients to make this radish curry. Wash the leaves and chop finely and similarly, cut radish, radish peel, and potato.
- Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and dry red chilies.
- After this add potatoes and fry on medium to low flame for 2-3 minutes. When the potatoes are roasted, add radish leaves, radish, and peels to it and fry on medium flame.
- Cover it in between and cook for 2-2 minutes. After this add turmeric powder and salt and mix it well.
- Your radish curry is ready, eat it with roti or rice-dal.
